I must begin by saying that I do not recommend utilizing frames for most sites. They are slow loading, difficult for search engines to index properly, and do not display in some browsers. They are useful for specific sections of a site such as a photo gallery or product display. A frames setup requires a minimum of three pages. The frameset page (the actual framework), a menu page (placed in a narrow frame and contains links that open their pages in the larger main frame), and a main page (an intro page that opens in the main frame by default when the frameset page is accessed). Of course a frameset can contain numerous frames and each frame must contain it's own page.
